Regarding unlimited plans from MTNL, There is no complete unlimited plan as of yet
only option is 256 kbps DSL 59NU which costs Rs. 590+80(CPE Rent)+10% service tax on bill, 500 MB monthly download and Rs 1.2 per extra MB you download
Free night usage is from 00.00 to 08.00 hrs

Be warned billing is erratic but stability and uptime of connection is excellent
But if it disconnects its hard to make ammends thru customer support

People download average 450-600 MB on well seeded torrents and approx 700 MB via fast http,ftp in the night unlimited period for 1 day. Calculate for month

and the MBs are just 400 MB 😀
 

if u wanna d/l mp3 n stuff then dsl 399 is not the plan for ye.cause with that plan u can d/l about 13 mb every day.the best plan is dsl 590 nu.it has unlimited d/l in night (night 12 to 8 am) with 500 mb every month.so with that u can d/l moviez,softwarez,gamez, n lot of thing but in night.i hav nu planin day i d/l 5 to 10 mb (depending on my surfing)n in night i d/l 500MB to 700MB 😛
