Does anyone here is getting 3ca with jio ? What are the maximum speeds u get with 3ca on jio?
Whether it's 2CA or 3CA or even Single Band this is maximum.

@RummaanKhan yeah I am now into the world of poor 4g speeds for jio 😅😅. Getting only 3 mbps max for jio when I am lucky otherwise its 1mbps...

@socrates u are luck getting that much speeds. For mine it were never crosses 7mbps,mostly it will be 5 mbps but it will gets low as 1 mbps, no matter day or night, even i am on 2ca most of the time.

Well,I have used Jio 3CA here in Haryana and speed sucks.Actually, the wireless backhaul is leading to congestion.i think that India need deep fiberisation.Or we can liberalise band E and V.
I have tested earlier the same in two areas. The area with fiber backhaul gets better speed even in peak hours while the backhaul get congested.
In my village,Jio leases BSNL tower slot....And I have seen the stats where the wireless backhaul was the reason of congestion. Rarely do spectrum is the reason of congestion in rural areas...
The issue may be totally opposite in urban areas but they can use WiFi offloading in those areas...but they don't.

Jio download speeds have reduced everywhere drastically, even travelling to cities all I got was 10mbps on band 40 in a high signal area. While aritel speeds have been super good thanks to the reframed 3g spectrum, we can easily 30mbps .Only problem with airtel is the indoor coverage ,which fairs for jio. Can we except another spectrum auction during this year . Jio must buy additional spectrum to handle more users..

@philip Auction is far away due to covid19 they will buy spectrum for sure! vodafone's some part of spectrum is expiring in 2021 jio will grab it as vil don't wants to spend money. Airtel will most probably buy more B8 900Mhz .

@vishal_k Yeah jio will most probably buy additional band3 or band1 spectrum, since they want to add capacity rather than indoor coverage for that they already haven band 5 . As for airtel they surely will go for b8 900mhz as they dont have any low frequency spectrum, while they have b3 and b1 and b40 for capacity handling.

Govt also needs to allow 60Ghz for civilian use, it'll boost the backhaul capacity of the telcos and will cut costs.
We have the one of the most expensive spectrum prices in the world with very least amount of unlicensed spectrum bands.
