In my area, there are Airtel unlimited plans available like 40mbps @ Rs799 and 100mbps @ Rs1099 included gst.
I want to opt Rs799 plan but I want atleast 60mbps speed.
Does this trick works to increase the speed? Suppose after using 1 or 2 months, if I request Airtel customer care to disconnect my connection & giving them reason that I am not satisfied with 40mbps speed as other ISPs like Jio Fiber are giving minimum 100mbps speed. So I need atleast 60mbps speed. Will this trick work? Few guys online was saying that Airtel broadband customer care is flexible and they do negotiate when customer try to permanently disconnect the connection.

Airtel v-fiber is a vdsl technology and it uses old DSL cable (RJ11 connector) but this D-Link DIR-816 is wan router means no RJ11 port which requires for vdsl. So have they also provide you a separate modem?
Or Airtel providing wan cable (rj45 connector) which is directly comes from outside to your home?

You don't need an Airtel Broadband connection for that. You can watch Airtel Xstream content if you have an Airtel Prepaid or Postpaid connection.
If you have an Android TV, you can sideload Airtel Xstream app in your TV or login to Xstream website on the browser on TV.
