Hi Jay,So they haven't done anything from their side till now. I just went ahead and edited the router html and removed the <fieldset> disabled attribute and was able to change the settings on the WAN page successfully. Now only VOIP is provisioned on the Nokia router and I'm able to PPPoe from my router. The changes seem persistent on reboot, not sure if they'll force the settings from the backend again.
I need your help, please.
I have exactly the same issue that you faced. I'm trying to hook up a newly installed Airtel fiber connection to my existing TP-Link load balance router so that I can load balance 2 separate BB connections; and have a (automatically restored) backup line in case one of them fails.
In my TP-Link load balance router >>>I have already configured my 2-year-old Microscan ISP connection (PPPoE) as WAN1; and would like to now add this new Airtel connection (PPPoE) as WAN2.
To do that, I need to disable the WAN connection in Airtel's Nokia G-2425G-A router that automatically runs when the device is powered. I assume 2 concurrent connections to the Airtel PPPoE account will not be accepted by Airtel's server (I doubt if any ISP will ever allow that).
The Airtel engineer/technician had a look and gave up after having a long conversation with his more experienced colleagues. The ticket is still open though. As mentioned previously in this forum, the Nokia G-2425G-A router is heavily locked down and will not allow me to disable the WAN connection profile.
My question/request to you is this: How did you go about breaking the Javascript (?) controls that have disabled the entire page. A step by step explanation (or a pointer to some tutorial) would be highly appreciated. Any programming skills I have are pretty basic (limited to earlier generation languages/databases); and virtually none in web technologies.
Many thanks to you in advance for your kind help.
Cheers!
