Hello everyone,
I'm considering Excitel as a secondary connection because Excitel doesn't provide static IP mainly and hijacks DNS but I have heard that Excitel has improved international speeds for everyone recently. 300Mbit for 1200ish a month sounds like a very good deal. Is anyone here on their 300Mbit connection? If so can you please share some speedtests?

Thanks

static ip? They don't even provide public ip.
And you can't pay extra to avoid it.

Yeah the static IP situation is shit but for DNS hijack you could use DoH via Firefox on a PC (chromium has it too but I think it needs to be flag set right now) and DoT on Android (system integrated on 9+) to bypass it. i use Cloudflare on both and it works flawlessly.

As for the stats, I have a 200mbit connection. If you want I could post a cloudping test (which i think should be similar) until someone posts a 300mbit speedtest.

Can you please post speedtests to Netherlands and Singapore servers?

Here, these are some pings from various regions around the world:

As for the speedtest do you have a dedicated server or something for me to test from?
speedtest.net is unreliable for bandwidth testing
If you want my personal results then I can stream 4K HDR Bluray remuxes (~100mbits video bitrate) from servers in Singapore with no issues (saturate my 200mbps connection)
Servers from Europe (UK and Germany mostly) cause slight buffering in those without a CDN but anything below 40mbits of video bitrate is doable (eg High Quality HDR 1080p / 4K Encodes) (non CDN servers touch ~120mbps speeds / CDNs saturate my 200mbps)

EDIT: Mixed up video bitrates and network speeds. Corrected.

Only plunge if on fiber IMHO.
An acquaintance on excitel ethernet happy about uptime but faces issues with video calls during peak hours on both duo/whatsapp.
ping loss, 100mps switches, fluctuations is still present in old copper infrastructure.

I'm on this plan right now, no complaints so far. I pay annually so it costs even less, cost me 8826 including taxes.

I do,

There are actually two LCOs in my area providing Excitel. One which I mentioned previously in the thread doesn't provide Fiber (only ethernet). I used to be with them until 2018ish when the service quality dropped. Constant disconnections, low intl speeds etc.

The second LCO started providing service in my area fairly recently (late 2020). I came to know because of another member on this forum who lived in my area. He provided me the new LCO number, I called them and got Excitel Fiber.
