Migrating from bsnl adsl to ftth,is there a way to migrate without giving up adsl connection( landline no)

so i am going to be getting bsnl ftth,but the lco guy told me i cant migrate my adsl landline no and convert it to ftth. I dont want to loose my landline no,so is there a way i can keep my old adsl landline no ??

Yeh but then you would have to pay for both separately, your new number would be almost similar (I got a change in first three digit rest all the the same). Maynot be available in your exchange. But ftth have different sequence of numbers you can't get old numbers in ftth for sure. 👍

Well, there is no way to directly migrate the number to FTTH, you may use Aseem plan that provides the option to retain the number as a virtual number that in turn would offer "call forwarding" to your mobile number. If the mobile number is a BSNL mobile, then the tariff is 99 per 6 months. For non-BSNL mobile, the tariff is 199 per 6 months. Visit the exchange / CSC to get it done. LCO may not have any idea on this landline specific plan.
