It remains to be seen how effectively the curfew is imposed. Gardens, parks where more than 5 people gather, non-essential goods shops are still open while newspapers mention they shall remain closed. While I get the dilemma of facing the wraith of the general public, it's really a Catch-22 situation for the govt. The rate at which people are contracting covid, I am shit scared of leaving my house..

Aiims chief can't handle crowding of patients on roads outside AIIMS. He is commenting on crowds in public space.

If people cannot follow simple rules then what can anyone do? all the strict fines and enforcements cannot achieve anything if people actually don't believe in social distancing.

i guess AIIMS chief is explaining this only. behavioural changes can't be controlled and there is pandemic fatigue among the people.

Why is he not in cowshed by now??

A personal experience.
A friend in my colony used to sneer at my caution fr last 1 year. Now his immediate neighbor has 1 covid19 case in their house & now he has got the wind up. Howling like a stuck pig about what the society should do. Nicely forgetting that last year when veggies and groceries were being brought to the society, he used to go out ( even to dadar market) when there was a strict lockdown. He used to call everyone names for their caution. The weirdest part of his idiocy was he never buys for more than 1 or 2 days, saying no place to keep stuff in house. This wife treats The house like a museum, she even chucked out a desktop pc as it looked BAD in HER house. 😬 So now they don't have anything other than their phones to connect to the net.🥴😑🤦😳
Posting this incident to highlight the behavior of rational beings during normal times simply going nuts when they can't understand the seriousness of a situation.

I don't know if I should be laughing or what when these actors and actresses get infected with covid.
They all share their pics doing workout in the gym with no masks to gain Instagram followers knowing that the gym and equipments will be shared by others too. It's a different case if all have their own personal gym but they would have probably seen it coming incase of the former.

On news they are saying almost all icu and ventilators are occupied in Delhi.

About 25% of ICU beds and 40% of ventilators are free ATM.

Don't know which data to trust. But things are definitely getting crazy again. This time everything is open and the chances of reinfection in also there.

The problem is there should be immediate ban public gatherings throughout India. Be it election rally or wedding.

What purpose does all these night curfew serve? Never understood the reasoning behind them.
