Why not stop Anti gen tests entirely?
Antigen is useful for mass surveillance. It gives results in quick time. RT-PCR takes 5-6 hours for the results and very few RT-PCR testing labs are operating in many states even now. Antigen tests are useful, if they are done following proper guidelines. Antigen negative are not being confirmed by rt pcr, and that is where the problem lies. Increasing reliance on RATs means many false negative cases are escaping the surveillance net.
