My cousin tested positive and her experience has been pretty normal. It's been asymptomatic in her case. It has been like a cold, just some weakness. I really hope that is the case with anyone who's getting infected.

I just hope it's a one off case or it has no relation between virus and brain damage. That's the last I want to know.
Viruses in general can cause depression like behavior and decrease in cognitive cognitive abilities long after the body seems to have fully recovered
Main mechanism of action seems that it makes some specific parts of the brain to release more cytokines, it's the chemical messenger which is responsible for the feeling "ill" symptoms.
Too much cytokines also forces the body to damage itself.
Chronic cytokine release is one of the proposed causes of major depression.
But the damage caused by SARS-COV-2 seems to be much more serious, in later stages it can cause serious cytokine system overload
There seems to be evidence that the the cytokine system overload causes it to penetrate blood brain barrier causing cytokines and viral particles to enter the brain causing brain cells death, symptoms at this stage includes confusion, loss of consciousness and coma.
Worst part is that it might survive for years in the brain, after which vaccines will most probably not work because penetrating blood brain barrier is really difficult.
