This is what I wondered about Vaccine certificate when my friends abroad posted their vaccine certificate in WhatsApp status. Their certificates looked very simple (particularly US), but Indian certificate looks very ceremonial 😀
US, UK, Canada, Russia have very simple "record card"

I think people are generally not against the security features implemented. Just half the certificate being the face of one guy. My certificate doesn't even have my own photo. No one is against QR code or anything. Hell they can even blockchain the entire database to prevent tampering.

Not sure if the certificate design changed but the one my parents got in April had a small pic of modi with a quote. Pretty easy to get rid of it if you want.
