Its been a pretty big disappointment sales wise for google, if you know someone coming from the US (after Coronavirus is over) you can get it for around $450 for a grade A refurbished model.

Na I don't this I know anyone who I can tell, also i think pixel 4a looks good but if they launch at rip off price again, then again stuck. I don't know why Amazon india not launching in India .

VoWiFi is not about having access to wifi while on call.

VoWiFi is calling OVER Wi-Fi. so you bypass the cellular network completely. if you are buying a phone today, make sure it is vowifi capable on your choice of operator. otherwise, it is just a mistake looking at the state of mobile networks which is only going to get worse in coming weeks.

Oh..so in VoWIFi we won't need an app like whatsapp ? Also I am guessing both phones need to be VoWiFI to able to call each other ?

no. vowifi is for regular calls. it just uses your home internet instead of cellular network for making calls. if the other side is also on vowifi with compatible platform, voice call would become hd. it is basically the wifi version of volte which is available on phones for years now. instead of mobile internet you get to use your home internet. so if signal quality is poor at your place, you still get to make calls from any part of the home and voice quality is much better. it is probably the most important enhancement to calling in decades.

reliance vowifi is supported on 3 and 3a series.

airtel does not list any pixel at the moment.

I checked doesn't look like enabled and i cant seem to enable it on nexus 5x, on Airtel
