Is Reliance automatically reinstalling (pre-loaded) apps you uninstall from their #JioFiber set top box?

Noticed that if you uninstall any apps they will get downloaded and installed automatically on their own after a few hours. Is this a common issue?

So no control on router first & now set top box.
Jio is good for mobile services only.

If you buy their instrument then control lies in their hand, first with jio phone, jio router and stb

no i unistalled only sideloaded apps. they never come out the grave.... dint uninstall any pre installed app. will try if possible today.

Has anyone tried disabling the packages using ADB? It should be possible to create a script that ADB into the box and disables it everyday.

I accidentally uninstalled Jio TV App from My Jio Set Top Box..since then unable to reinstall the Jio TV App...hence unable to watch Jio TV on my LG UHD Smart TV...any suggestions how to get Jio TV installed on Jio Set Top Box again... As Jio TV App is not visible in Jio App store too...

@Mayank.B reset ur jio stb . After that, it will automatically download the latest update and install all the apps when you switch on the stb after reset.

Yes Jio preloaded apps are integrated with JioTV app so we can’t uninstall them. I also uninstalled Voot kids and Sun nxt but they get installed again. I don’t have any problem with that. We are getting all the apps integrated in One Jio TV Plus app, that’s a big bonus

They should atleast let uninstall applications .
SunNXT and Facebook Watch. I don't want them + they're taking unnecessary space. So I cannot install new apps (also jiostore has absolute shit apps) .

🤣 Nothing happens like that for me.
Do Factory reset.
I uninstalled so many apps. they never came back.
