I think that option helps us limit bandwidth to certain port so as to save from crossing the data limit given to us by the service provider as videos eats most of the data while buffering due to high speed plans. I created the profile, but I don't know how to make use of it.

it is just like QOS in router. you can limit upstream and download stream for certain devices via IP or MAC. google QOS for more details.

I am unable to even create a profile but as you successfully made a profile, you can get rest configured creating traffic profile on traffic selectors tab.
Let me know if you succeed!

I did the same and set bandwidth profile for my LG tv and then set up traffic selector for the same profile but it is not working (tried using both ip and mac address ). It is not working, it didnt set any limit on the bandwidth.

It says maximum bandwidth is 1Gpbs. Set that correctly, and it might just work. Let me know if it works.

Thanks for the video. When are you planning on posting 'Routeing and DNS for gaming' video?
I hope with this traffic selector setting I see less of 'shoot first die first' instances in FPS games.
I've subscribed but I cant enable notification on your YouTube channel because it's on YouTube kids. Please notify any updates on this thread.
