You are not answering questions properly and giving half information. Last day when I asked you. You never said v1 and v2 are different for sideloading even though I asked you multiple times which model you have. I took this thread's further information where it was mentioned v1 and v2 is same. Now that I randomly asked v1 and v2 differences, you are saying both are different and v2 cannot sideload app.

I mistakenly tagged you in my recent comment. I wanted to ask other guys to answer me properly.

1. What is the difference between JHSD200 v1 and JHSD200 v2?

2. Both the model number mentioned above are capable of sideloading apps?

I can see your frustrated but I did mention clearly that I have hybrid STB and you can also check the complete spec details of the model on the front page of this post. I also mentioned it runs on Android 9. Now I also answered your question about side loading of apps since you asked the difference. If your lazy to not read all the comments and then claim I'm not answering your questions properly, you are being unreasonable since everyone here are answering your queries during the busy schedule we have. Please take the time to go though the posts when your free to get a better understanding of the situation right now. I guess that's what I did when I started interacting with others a month back.
 
I have read whole thread that is why I am frustrated. There is no clear information of v1 and v2. You are mainly using the term "Hybrid" which doesn't refer to a model specifically. After getting confused from your last night's replies, I did read whole thread.

Where multiple people said v1 and v2 are same. Now I randomly (purely guess) I asked you what is the difference between v1 and v2. You are saying V2 doesn't have Cable Coaxial Port (where other two people have said it has). Secondly, you are saying that cannot sideload. Everyone is busy in their life 🙂

@gomfi dude relax, here..... i have hybrid STB as @bigman91 so my specs are same (i hope so). i havent checked the specs yet, but i assure you i will check it by tonight after reaching home from work. as per my understanding from the conversations here,

there are 3 types of STB from jio, (pls correct me if im wrong)

from comments i see there are two types of STB with tuner AKA hybrid, one with headphone jack and another with S/PDIF port hence V1 and V2.

the one without S/PDIF is v1 and one with S/PDIF is V2. and i dont think there will be any other difference in the Software since S/PDIF is not "modern" and kind of useless....

My STB box has only model number JHS D200 printed. There isn't v1 or v2 mentioned. I noticed that there other models like @drsachin which is printed as model v2. Like @ponnitheunreal said there are multiple models but the specs are same I guess. If you already have Jio connection and if your free preview is over then you must select and pay for a commercial plan, only then you can avail the STB. When you get the STB you can ask the Jio assistant personnel to explain you the disparity in the models.
 
guys now i guess i understand the issue at PQ. the HDR is default for all UI and non HDR content looks dull and washed out since HDR is enabled by default..... people with different model of TV face different color reproduction issue....

I am relaxed. It's just that few information is wrong which has made me bit frustrated. As I have mentioned both the information provided by him is wrong which I have mentioned in the thread and tagged too.

Its STB in general. Its bad. I don't know whether the issue is with picture reproduction or the streaming quality bitrate is being throttled by Jio via its STB.
