@Nitin Exactly.

@alekhkhanna returned the TP-Link today, I’ll probably get the Asus AX88U in today’s sale, if anything. Archer gave me the most common tplink issue, having to reboot every 2nd or 3rd day, honestly quite annoying. Plus the web management https certificate appears bogus to my devices so it doesn’t open up when you force https.

@nigr Welcome to Wifi woes.
My R7800 conked during a firmware upgrade, and Netgear replaced it with a R8000 after 8 days.
That router is SHIT !
On my 1 gbps connection, it gives 700 mbps via LAN, and 200 mbps via Wifi on a 2*2 MU-MIMO setup. Range is poor as well.
Will probably sell it and get an Asus (88U or 86U) or the R7800 again in today's sale. R7800 was a rock solid router !

Just a suggestion, if you are looking for high end network setup, it might make more sense to stop looking for all in one devices and get a good x86 wired router and multiple access points.

You could get a good x86 mini pc with 4 intel Ethernet ports for around 10-12k + duty if any.

@alekhkhanna How about this router?

@Nitin I've the X6, and the throughput is not good. WAN to LAN is also bad. On my gigabit, it gives 700 Mbps on LAN, which is quite a bit of a loss.

@nigr I am going back to R7800. Old but robust.

@varkey Running ethernet cables to multiple APs is a challenge. Though I was thinking of just connecting a TP or Ubiquiti AP directly to the Jio router and be done with it. Running the cable is the major issue (not to mention our walls are plain and there's no place to hang then, rented place)
