No ipv6 timeline in place. Existing timeliness have all gone to trash due to covid. BSNL has internal deadlines to switch on ipv6 for all circles by March 2021.

Now they'll use covid as the excuse to delay roll out over the next year or two.

hello, could anyone help me regarding ipv6 configuration. Earlier, while enabling ipv6, pppoe would not connect at all. Which I assumed ipv6 wasnt available here.

i tried the same yesterday, and pppoe connects, but the c6 gets ipv4 address only. Is there any specific settings required in the ipv6 tab? I've put a below screenshot of my ipv6 settings of my archer c6.

thx

This revised time line also went for a toss. But there had been reports on airtel wired broadband adding ipv6 during early Jan. Most likely in an attempt to try to honour this timeline set by govt. Saw those reports from other forums. Not sure how it is now. The government doesn't seem to be in a hurry to revise the timeline again. Let us see. If anyone have any info please do share.

So after almost 2 years, I too got native IPv6 from BSNL. BSNL's PPP server is now changed from Redback(Ericsson) to Juniper for me.

Not much difference. I was hoping for a little better latency to international destinations. It's as bad as on IPv4 for me. ~350ms to Europe(hetzner, contabo), Singapore(Linode, vultr etc.) and all 🤣

Atlas Console is on my network. You can test it there

Yeah, there is no hope in complaining anymore or helping them fix it. They don't want to. VPN through DO Bengaluru is the best option for better latencies.

Is anyone able to open onlinesbi.com and login on ipv6. I am not. Only working with ipv4. anybody can test and help? @varkey

I am also facing the same issue. when I switch over to IPv6 all users of my network started complaining unreachability issue of onlinesbi.com (2405:a700:14:13b::148). There is no issue for youtube / google/ fabebook / yahoo etc. all working fine over IPv6 .

traceroute on onlinesbi.com fails, here it is:
