@Dark_Nate what is your opinion, why Jio have capped upload speed in fiber broadband? They have latest technology hardware so what can be the reason for this capping?
@Dark_Nate Even I want to know. Why do all foreign players cap Upload? Not many people upload anyway.

Most ISPs all over the world caps and cheats on download speed because of everyone's downloads. This is obvious for decades.
Jio is Ambani. Ambani is Ambani. Only he will know why they are the only ISP that we know of who caps upload speed instead of download speed.

@Dark_Nate He is losing an essential selling point. And uploads aren’t as expensive because not many people upload. There must be a deeper reason I guess.

The whole point of having fiber to home is to have high speed symmetrical speeds.
DSL and Cable cannot handle higher upload speed limited by the technology.
But 100% Fiber operation like Jiofiber throttling upload speed is baffling me.
Some of the reason I can think of is,
1. Limiting upload speed would result in less data use which is used to cover thier shitty fup.
2. Prevent so called botnets and malwares.
3. To prevent congestion 🤦♂️

@vignesh_venkatesan sir rightly explained.... agree with you.... i think they did that upload slow speed thing only to counter their network congestion... but some how i am still affected... i just did speedtest and speed is 0.45 constantly now...
0.45 download and 8Mbps upload.... its definitely network congestion or maybe faulty hardware at their end..
and i am sure after 2-3 am it will be having fine speed again till tomorrow morning...
but what could be solution to this sir? i think jio must be knowing that they are having network congestion here?
why they are not caring to resolve this for delhi people?

excitel was working on improving... why jio can't? it's run by a rich owner.
