Anyone on Asianet Broadband Fiber here?

@coolsam07 I havent had direct experience on asianet but my friends do and it's not pleasant.
If you can get railtel or bsnl ftth I suggest go with it the asianet plans have very little fup.
If you are sure you would not exhaust it then its fine.

One from kozhikode told he is having very high ping and low speed when it's raining.. It shouldn't happen that way for ftth. And he told me he exhausts the fup very quickly due to smartv.

Thanks @Ameen for the inputs. I took the Asianet Fiber Connection couple of days back. The plans are cheaper compared to JioFiber which I was using before. Let's see how it goes. 🙂
 
Well i owned Asianet Docsis Connection earlier. I can say that pings are less compared to Bsnl FTTH connection.But these people dont give you the promised speeds. I was 50 Mbps connection and the maximum i got 48 Mbps, they just cap their speeds, the same is the case with their FTTH u can see many youTube speedtest videos . You will never get the speeds they promised only some 2 to 4 mbps lesser than that every single time.In Bsnl FTTH u will never have such a problem since i am on their 849 plan and i am yet to get a speed below 50 mbps.Also they provide symmetric upload speeds .Only thing problematic for me in BSNL Ftth is their high latency to many sites including google ,YouTube ,especially prime video streaming.
 

To be frank, Since I don't play any online games, I never bothered about the Pings. For me, majority of data is consumed on media streaming via YouTube and Hotstar. These work without any hiccups on Full HD.

I was using BSNL FTTH for more than a year. The 50Mbps plan use to give 55Mbps up and down. There were some 5 occurences when some trucks will break the cable. Then they re-routed the cable. Their infrastructure is very good. But, once we get any issues, it is very bad customer service unless we escalate to higher levels.

When JioFiber came to our area, I moved to that for the preview. The speeds were good. But, the newly launched paid plans are pathetic! The FUPs are very low for my monthly use. Also. I hear that the paid plans have an upload speed of only 10Mbps which is shame. They also don't provide a bridge mode.

So, I decided to go for Asianet Fiber. So far so good. Their plan is "upto 150Mbps". I believe we will get that speed on a LAN with a SSD PC. Zero Installation Charges. Very prompt and friendly customer service (so far).
 
But since 1 month my neighbour is having with upload... Like while doing a speed test it takes while for a upload test to begin... While testing speed and all, but other than that its okay
