So I am back on NextDNS, there is now a NextDNS CLI client available for OpenWRT (nextdns/nextdns) which would essentially fix the stubby issue. I had tried Stubby again earlier today, hoping that things have improved, but it still goes to a hung state with NextDNS. It appears to be a known issue based on the response from the NextDNS team (Configuring NextDNS)

However the number of queries is crazy. I switched to NextDNS only after 12 PM or so, and so far I've made 44000 queries. :O That's just with 4-5 devices. With the new NextDNS CLI I just installed on OpenWRT, I get the pretty names of the devices too, I'm curious to know which device make the most queries. 😅
 
is NextDNS ad blocking working for you guys? since the s10 update last night... it has been fucked up. i am not sure if it is nextdns which is having issues or is it my phone. 😕
