How to sideload apps on Reliance Jio Fiber Android set-top box?

Hey guys, I got my Jio fiber including set top box, played around with the box.. I have some interesting news..!
I was able to sideload apks.. on to the box

Yes confirmed , side load is possible. Go to jio pages download the apk you want don’t open it.
go to Settings -apps -show system apps - scroll down for app installer. Open it - select local storage. You’ll see the apk. Install it.

You could download and install Android Assistant and take a backup of the jiotv plus app

Installed all apk i had with me in a pen drive.

installed these apks

Then tried playing Plex through Kodi. Worked flawlessly

All 4K aac / truehd transcoded to Dolby without any issue.

Installed jio tv app but this is output

Opened prime video but video playback had issues.

So I downloaded another apk but seems dodgy so I dint login with my credentials.

Installed smart YouTube apk. 4K is playing well

@ponnitheunreal Can you confirm that the set top box outputs 4k.. mine seem to be output at 1080p
