Are the 40GB top ups working for everyone?
They are not working for me from the past 2-3 days. It says recharge successful on the app but I receive no email/sms and no plan gets added to my queue . I am down to my last 40 gb top up (which I did last week) after which I might have to finally give up this connection.
I also havent received any calls from jio people asking me to upgrade to paid plans although they have started distributing pamphlets for paid plans in my locality.

What about others?

I just tried it. I was able to add 4 40gb vouchers. So it is still working so far. I am hoping to complete at least 2019 on the free preview!
 
I got a Notification on my MyJio app today saying that "Complementary Set-TopBox..." .. I couldn't read it fully as I tapped on the message.. It went to the MyJio app and didn't show me the details on the Set Top Box.. (as expected based on the experience so far.. some really stupid developers are creating Jio's apps.. IMHO)

I am assuming that they will be asking me to move to a Paid Plan soon..
So, I am also getting ready for a new Paid Plan with another service provider who is promising to provide 200Mbps and 500GB FUP at half Jio's rate..

Anyone else got this Notification?
 
I got the SMS that my STB is ready for delivery. I called CC and he said that after a user gets that SMS, he has to mandatorily migrate to a paid plan within 1 day. He said my services will stop working at 12 midnight today. I tried telling him iff he is building pressure on me, but he said I can wait for a day and see, services will surely stop.

I can also see all the paid plans listed in myjio app. They were not there before and started appearing shorty before I got the SMS.

So I have booked the appointment for saturday. I will get to know if my services stop tonight or no.
 

I got the SMS some time back.. What if I don't book the appointment? Nowhere they have mentioned that it will be disconnected.
I can see the Paid Plans in MyJio app.

Again, their tech team shows the Plan Name as ₹849 in one page and ₹1001.82 in the details. (Yes.. that's the GST added.. but still..!!)

I don't think there is any User Interface Testing happening in Jio. Pathetic!
 
40 GB recharge is working here as well. However, the 100 GB combo recharge has stopped working.

I too am planning to leave Jio and go back to Airtel as my area has been upgraded to fiber. The 300 GB plan @ 999 with 200 Mbps speed seems lucrative as it also has an annual Amazon prime subscription, compared with 849 plan of Jio difference comes out only to about 30 odd rupees. Airtel has been rock solid for the past 11 years with good customer service, haven't got a chance to test Jio customer service yet however the double natting, data mining and non-availability of incoming ports are problems that are really getting to me on Jio.

This seems interesting. No idea if this is with base plan or a standalone offer. If it's the latter, it means about 900 INR for 4000gb a month.

does anyone know what "Extra GB" mean?? Plan 699 has 50GB Extra and 849 has 200GB extra. at bottom it says "Extra GBs are available for 6 months as introductory benefits" . So if we only pay monthly instead of quarterly or annually will we still get these extra GBs for 6 months??? BUT if we pay for 6 months in advance then it says we will get 50% extra data but they are already giving 50% extra data on 699 plan (above mentioned introductory benefits) and 100% extra data for 849 (above mentioned introductory benefits) so does it make any sense to go for 6 months plan??

I fear they might force me to migrate to paid plans. I use a lot of data and have about 65-70 used 40gb top ups in my queue...maybe I have crossed some limit they have which is why this is happening.
 
Finally they have mentioned the OTT applications.
