Are the 40GB top ups working for everyone?
They are not working for me from the past 2-3 days. It says recharge successful on the app but I receive no email/sms and no plan gets added to my queue . I am down to my last 40 gb top up (which I did last week) after which I might have to finally give up this connection.
I also havent received any calls from jio people asking me to upgrade to paid plans although they have started distributing pamphlets for paid plans in my locality.

What about others?

Check with Jio care, they can tell you exactly what's happening with your account

I got a Notification on my MyJio app today saying that "Complementary Set-TopBox..." .. I couldn't read it fully as I tapped on the message.. It went to the MyJio app and didn't show me the details on the Set Top Box.. (as expected based on the experience so far.. some really stupid developers are creating Jio's apps.. IMHO)

I am assuming that they will be asking me to move to a Paid Plan soon..
So, I am also getting ready for a new Paid Plan with another service provider who is promising to provide 200Mbps and 500GB FUP at half Jio's rate..

Anyone else got this Notification?

I got the SMS that my STB is ready for delivery. I called CC and he said that after a user gets that SMS, he has to mandatorily migrate to a paid plan within 1 day. He said my services will stop working at 12 midnight today. I tried telling him iff he is building pressure on me, but he said I can wait for a day and see, services will surely stop.

I can also see all the paid plans listed in myjio app. They were not there before and started appearing shorty before I got the SMS.

So I have booked the appointment for saturday. I will get to know if my services stop tonight or no.

I got the SMS some time back.. What if I don't book the appointment? Nowhere they have mentioned that it will be disconnected.
I can see the Paid Plans in MyJio app.

Again, their tech team shows the Plan Name as ₹849 in one page and ₹1001.82 in the details. (Yes.. that's the GST added.. but still..!!)





I don't think there is any User Interface Testing happening in Jio. Pathetic!
