I am expecting it will be 10-20% less + IUC or they will match plans and give some extra data.

More likely extra data will be offered.
 
I queued a 1699 annual plan when 47 days of old plan was left. But 1699 go activated automatically?

Similar issues with anyone
 
I don't know whether it is available in other circles.
I have been using this plan for quite a while.
Benefits: 1Gb/day for 84 days.
1.4 Gb/day if recharged through Airtel app.

they seem to have changed that behavior for now it seems.

i am still wondering whether to do a yearly charge on mom's phone.

now i have no idea. probably would do the regular 84 day recharge i guess.

airtel queue system is a mess their CC also don't know how it works, read somewhere total validity should not exceed 180 days of new and old plan.
