8 days ago My Bsnl broadband speed profile was 12799/637 kbps.
All of a sudden my ADSL was off and After 2 hours i saw my bsnl ADSL was working again but My speed profile was reset to 2047/509 kbps.
I complained and spammed them all over twitter then they changed it to 8091/1021 kbps.
Now i am complaining Again on twitter and every possible mean. I just got a call from twitter guy who told me you are complaining too much and gave some useless points that it depends on line health and your plan and only if your line is not stable we can reduce the speed the speed profile.
In short he was just trying to say that you are dumb.
He was acting as the boss and giving useless examples that it depends upon line health and all. I told him my line is good. Then he said the modem page doesn't show your speed( Really dude). I am sick of him when i told him some bitter truth that don't act as if your are working in the NIB he told me it would be better if I talk to him with respect. I told him to tell the NIB department to call me he said they don't just call every one.
Guys i am sick of them. But i have no other option available in my area. Earlier when my speed profile was of 12799 kbps i was gettting 10.7-10.9 mbps which was more than enough for me but now i am on 8091 kbps and getting 6 to 6.5 mbps.
I am on superstar 300 10 Mbps plan .
My line stats are:
Adsl Line StatusSHOWTIME.L0
Adsl ModeG992.5
Channel ModeInterleave
Up Stream1021 kbps
Down Stream8191 kbps
Attenuation Down Stream16
Attenuation Up Stream8
SNR Margin Down Stream27.3
SNR Margin Up Stream11.4

now only thing remaining is to visit ur nearest exchange , talk to SDE , and ask him to do so ... but ask him in a polite way otherwise they will not do it ..

Bro i am always polite but when someone tries to justify something which is their fault , i can't keep my politeness. Bsnl employees at my near by exchange are all dumb. I know they will also tell bla bla bla......... 8 mbps is good, go home we are 40-50 year old Babu's we know nothing just sitting here sipping our tea and getting salary, funded by your taxes.

Try changing the ADSL Mode to ADSL2+. It is under internet settings. In the internet settings sub menu, go to the last option, forgot the name. From there, change the ADSL Mode to ADSL2+ or atleast ADSL, if ADSL2+ is getting too many CRC Errors.

Ok. Fine, if you are not a noob, good luck with your broadband. I am telling you this coz, all your Screenshots shows the ADSL Mode as G992.5 and not ADSL2+.
