Check if your ONU or your Router are connected to your PC through Gigabit LAN ports. Make sure you use a minimum CAT5e cable for connection.
Some FTTH ONUs have 2 LAN ports. 1 is 100 Mbps and other one is 1 Gbps. Make sure you use the latter.
If you don’t have a gigabit ONU then ask Excitel to upgrade the model for you which has Gigabit port.

I used to get speed like yours before when my LCO was using 100 Mbps switches, now i am on fiber.
You can get standing next to router using any modern phone with dual channel wifi receiver, it can be much more if both router n receiver support triple channels simultaneously... what we call as mimo.
2.4ghz suffers due to other 2.4ghz interference(unless you live in a farmhouse) - drawback of long range as wireless is not exclusive.

Yes there is 100mbps switch
You won't be getting 100Mbps from a 100Mbps switch which is shared by many other customers.
There is roughly 7-8% TCP overhead on Ethernet. ISPs overcome this limitation by over-provisioning your profile speeds to 110 Mbps (Instead of 100 Mbps) in their RADIUS servers. This is done to prevent false advertising accusations. But since you are already capped at 100 Mbps due to a switch, their over-provisioning is useless till the 100 Mbps bottleneck switch is upgraded to 1 Gbps switch.
You have to talk to Excitel to either replace that switch with Gigabit one or get a FTTH line laid out for you.
