I get the internet working for a few seconds when i reset the modem.

Modem/wifi - TD-W9970 v2.

I have constantly contacted BSNL via twitter & phone for the past 2 weeks and the guy has come to fix it 2 times.

What else can i do to fix the issue?

So that link wouldn't work for you. You'll need to use some other portal, not sure which. Hehe

wait and minute, you have to access that link from the BSNL connection, not over mobile data. It only works when accessed using the BSNL broadband connection.

That would not be possible for now as that is my issue. My bsnl broadband is not working for the past 2 Weeks. The bsnl guy has came twice but couldn't fix the issue. I have posted the connection details in the first post.

Sorry, I assumed you had trouble accessing the FUP and data usage portal.

If it keeps disconnecting, then it's also possible that your DSL modem is faulty. Have you tried another modem?

Actually as the screenshot indicates, the connection is not disconnected. I just am not able to get internet for some reason.

The most weird thing is that i get the internet for a minute immediately after restarting the modem.

If you're connected but can't use the net then check MTU setting in your modem. Usually it's set to 1500 change to 1492. That was my setting on MTNL ADSL connection.
Also your tel line should first come to your modem via a splitter.
BTW Your SNR margin v high so you could get disconnected.
Have a look at this link though the model is different the fundas are same Seting up TP-Link TD-W8968

Finally I got the internet working using a BSNL issued modem.

I wonder if the TP Link was mis configured or defected.

Thank you guy for all the suggestions.

Actually i have followed all these instructions and still couldn't get internet. As you can see in the screenshot in the first post, the signals are ok.
