So apart from Hotstar, Hungama, Sun Nxt and Eros now, you will now also get Zee5 subscription free of cost.

Still not interesting enough because these services can only be accessed on TV. You can't use them anywhere else.
 
So, from what I understand they will be linked to your Tata Sky ID & usable on that particular device alone?

How do we compare DTH providers?
 
Any specific reason? Why should I switch from Airtel?
 

if you are happy, no need to switch. if you are looking for a new connection, Tata Sky is generally the best option to go for.
 
Right. If you are happy no need to switch I suppose - With D2h I am not, hence I am even doing the ground work checking for alternate options and what other value adds Tata Sky or for that matter Airtel have.
 
Well, I havent decided between Tata Sky and Airtel DTH.

I personally feel DishTV is bad as well, have had it before. Airtel DTH too I have had in the past, but closed both Dish TV & Airtel TV because I wanted to consolidate costs under multi TV. Then removed 2 lines as one was unused and other I personally have moved on to streaming options. Havent thought of Sun, but then its more suited if you are looking for regional channels I suppose.
 
Right, I mean many regional channels were only on Sun & it would skip over English, Sports channels as only a limited could be accommodated.
Now with unified pricing and my need of hardly 5-10 channels, the best in terms of quality, service and maybe just maybe value adds I would say need to choose.
