hey guys i am looking for new updated settings for this modem if u have a link or place to download same pls share .

my current model is 1.01 and version is 36 which was last updated on jan 19. so pls share

and also i would like to know how to open these settings and benefit of these greyed out settings in the pic i have added

You can't get firmware outside of airtel.
Only they can update it via tr-069(cwmp) or thier field Engineers doing it manually for you.

But i have already found for other airtel modems like for huwei 630a, 630v2 and binatone 450w and others so i was hoping to get its firmware too..

and can u see the pic which i have attached and tell how to unlock these and apply them ...

Airtel has provided me the same VDSL modem. But I would advise you not to adjust those settings unless advised by an Airtel network engineer. It can cause incompatibilities with the network. This is the reason they are locked.

Also, the firmware is not available to customers. It can be flashed by Airtel remotely or via a site visit by the engineer.

and say how to unlock these as i am stuck at auto frequency channel i want it to be 13+9 but it doesnot gives me an option to change. so pls tell how to unlock and apply..

@sidharth098, I do not use the Wi-Fi capabilities of the Beetel VDSL CPE.

In a Wi-Fi router auto frequency channel selects the best bands/frequencies normally depending on the country selected & the least "crowded" based on the local environment. I'd advise you to leave things as they are. Why are you trying to mess with the settings?!

PS - The settings can be changed only if you know the admin password...which you need to get from Airtel.

Hello ,Thanks for quick reply.
I am logged in as admin as per my locality many people are using airtel connection and my router is frequently changing channel from 2 to 5 to 1 to 3 like this evrey 5 mins so i just want to save it in 11 or 13 so that it does not fluctuate... and as i have already disabled cwmp so airtel cant change settings from backendbut i cant seem to change same thing by that method..."

@sidharth098 it is best you talk to Airtel Tech Support and ask them for the password. You cannot make changes without the admin/root password. Normally bands are switched automatically depending on "noise" or interference from adjoining networks on the same frequencies.

AS I SAID I AM ALREADY LOGGED IN AS ADMIN, BUT IF U ARE TELLING ME THAT THERE IS MORE LOGIN NAME WHICH HAVE MORE PREVILEGES THAN DEFAULT ID NAME AS ADMIN THEN PLS DO SHARE... AS PER ME ADMIN MEANS ADMINISTRATOR IF NOT THEN WHAT NAME SHOULD GET MORE POWER???

@sidharth098, don't type in CAPS on a forum..it's considered as shouting!! Yes, there can be a 'super' admin when your CPE is flashed with customised firmware.

So, for the 'n'th time please contact Airtel and ask them for the password or better still have an Airtel technician visit your place for customised CPE configuration in exactly the way you want it.

@sidharth098 Did you finally find how to customize(make it static) the channel??

I am trying WDS to a better TP-Link router but channel needs to be static for that..
Can anybody suggest something??
