Hey guys I am BSNL FTTH user for last 5 years, and currently using 777 plan 50mbps till 600gb
I am facing a weird problem, When I try to do some port forwarding stuff it doesn't work!
Example- In plex media server its shows not available outside your network!!
I have tried port forwarding in my wifi router (Digisol DG-BR4000N/E ) but it doesn't work!
I contacted BSNL and they sent over a technician but he claimed that ports are open from BSNL side and there is problem with my wifi router and handed over me a new D-Link router for testing but same results! Still not able to port forward!
More problems: Blynk server disconnects due to this problem, openIOT doesn't work, raspberry pi openVPN hosting doesn't work!

Please help guys, I am stuck for last 6 months on same problem!!

Thanks

Have you ever tried bridge mode in your fiber ONU/ONT/modem?

If it doesn't work, you may need to contact BSNL to reset the MAC address, as MAC binding is done by BSNL in most exchanges.

It may help if the ONU is Netlink. For others, things are similar.

Sorry For late reply @pothi !!
I contacted BSNL and they gave a new test wifi router and said that ports are open from there side and I need to buy a static IP
And ONU in my case is Huawei and after admin login also there no option for port forwarding, NAT or DMZ or anything like that
And recently I tried to make plex server, openVPN and apache server and nothing works due to ports blocked
Lets hope BSNL could help me out or any other member here!
Thank you!

@AlphaFolker Dude, port forwarding does not need static IP. Also, port forwarding is definitely open on BSNL's firewall.
Set your ONT in bridge mode, then use your own router. Else buy a different ONT.

If it's GPON in your area, buy any of these:

I have this

Sorry I got the problem! there is GPON router which takes fiber input and then I have wifi router, so this combination will not work for port forwarding
I will buy a new router as recommended by you (PS- this TP-Link router is quite expensive! Is there any router within 2.5k rupees?)
Thank you so much!

Enable bridge mode in the ONT. Use router to establish PPPoE. You're most likely having a double NAT. That's why port forwarding wasn't working.

@newbie2902 ISP provided ONTs, Modems and router have the hardware and software quality that's equivalent with print ("Hello World"); unfortunately.
Post screenshots of the dashboard of the WAN/Internet setup and whatever else is related to WAN/Internet and bridge mode.
