How to get 5GHz wifi speed using Reliance Jio Fiber?

Just buy a dual band wifi router and your problem will be fixed.You can get a 100Mbps port dual band router at 1.5K(TP-Link archer C20)or if you have plan of more than 100Mbps then going for a gigabit router is necessary.You can get them as well for around 2.5 to 3K.Even my isp provided me 2.4G fiber modem and i was not able to get 100Mbps in 2.4G So i purchased TP link Archer C20.Now my problem is solved.

@Ak5877 No, that's technically incorrect. Just buying a dual band wifi router will not help if the WAN is 10/100Mbps. This is because, the actual throughput of a 100Mbps WAN is less than 100Mbps. So, if your plan is 100Mbps, you will never get 100Mbps even in 5GHz band. To get speeds of 100Mbps and above, you will need a Gigabit dual band wifi router where the WAN and LAN are Gigabit. Archer C20 has 100Mbps WAN and LAN, so you will get less than 100Mbps with 5GHz wifi. I have a Gigabit dual band wifi router and I am getting 120Mbps both upload and download on my 100Mbps plan.

@thadougamer Yes you are right thats why i am getting 91Mpbs in download but upload is 100Mbps.But i think i also had to ask my isp to change the modem as Lan port in the modem is also 100Mbps

@eriek_halenx Sorry, my bad. That was my mistake. Yes, it does support 2x2 MU - MIMO. Got mixed up between C6 & C60. Post edited.

Is the lan port on jio black model gigabit?
If yes you can buy any gigabit wan/lan router and get good speeds. Curretly jio maxes at 95-96 mbps
