Yesterday i took a new phone linebut there was only one line ka wiring internally so the phone wala told that he"ll take the new line from outside se.So wat i did i transfromed my old no to the new line.So now i got a new wire for my triband which sud increase the speed.before i used to get 27 -28 constant (parellel line)but now it is same no increment (direct line). i expected to get 30-32 plusi get disconnection every half hour to 1 hr again n againi mean my adsl light blinks every hr n than gets stable again. Is this due to my new wire (i stay on 8th fl) or is the disconnection is same with ye all since yesterdayHere is my adsl detailItem Downstream Upstream Unit SNR Margin 31 27 dB Line Attenuation 36 25 dB Data Rate 256 256 kbps tell me is this fig goodnhow do i get the speed of 30+

now what the heck is this

I think ur line attenuation is bit moreI have very stable connection, here are my details Downstream UpstreamSNR Margin 30 25Line attenuation 10 6Data Rate 256 256I stay about 1 km from exchange in Mumbai.BTW there is a thread regarding SNR margins and attenuations.. 🙄

my question was that why m i getting slow speedsnow that i hav changed the wiring n alln after changing the wiring my conn is not stable also

Can be due to sum loose connections...........get ur telephones lines checked. I also had the same problem and at the end it was due to a loose connection at the telephone pole. I know it sounds strange....but get ur telephone lines checked.....give it a go.Best of Luck....... 😛

here is mineSNR Margin 16 23Line Attenuation 44 29Data Rate 288 256but i get constant download speed speed of 32.5KBps..even i posted a video of my comp screen once in this forum.. 🙂 But i use IDM..which download manager do u guys use?? 🤔

whitelotus:Your attenuation is pretty high, but apparently MTNL has increased your downstream bandwidth to compensate for it...
