Suggestion: Excitel please start Voice/voip landline service

Now that I have shifted from Airtel vdsl to excitel fiber. Don't have any complains with uptime or speed etc.
Except need a landline phone. Airtel was asking 349+gst for keeping landline with unlimited calls.
I even have a voip adapter aka ata.
I wish excitel starts voip landline service by selling mtnl or tata landline service.
I could pay something like 100+bucks extra for this like mtnl is charging on ftth. Just a suggestion for excitel. @philip marlowe
 
The company representative visit this forum rarely now a days, same like me, an old excitel customer😛😛.

I saw netmagic banner for 20mbps speed + unlimited voice calls in 450* at some place i visited.
Was thinking why can't excitel start this?!

Only bsnl provide sip voice calling service in India but their service level is awful. Too many busy tones or number not reachable.
I am getting all mobile network problems on voip service. lol! Didn't renewed.

Maybe i 'll note the no next time i visit and ask for voice only service.
 
I get that these guys purchase data from Airtel & TaTa.

But from where do they purchase the voice? And how do they configure it?
 
Bsnl sells it. Voice telephony is total ip based at backend. Configuring is simple via sip/asterisk server.
Its more of a regulatory hurdle.
 
Contacted their customer support on twitter regarding calling/Landline services, they are planning for it and It's under process.

Hope they will do it soon!
 
the fact that someone is doing something is not enough to consider it as a valuable thing ... therefore trying to understand what is the real value
 
For business point of view u may not found it ok but there are people who prefers landline at home or office. Plus seeing the monthly recharge costs are high now a days it will be a good add on for many.
 
i pay airtel more than what i pay excitel just for their landline lol. though it is also used for backup connectivity. but landline for me is absolutely essential.
 
One thing i don't understand u come here for few days than disappear for months or a year. What's the point of asking things if u are not coming back for so long. Static ip is pending since long, but u don't have to say anything on it. When u visit here again after so long, i don't think u remember anything.
