I am having a peculiar problem regarding Jio fiber.
Since last few days I am getting download speeds below 10 mbps and upload speed still at 94 mbps. This is happening only on my Dell Inspiron laptop. Speed is fine on my wife's laptop and on mobiles as well. Jio guy came and checked and said everything is fine at their end and the issue is with my Laptop. Any suggestion how to rectify this problem?
Try updating the laptop's Ethernet or WiFi adapter driver, whichever is causing the problem. If it is already up to date, trying reinstalling the drivers.

It seems like Jio is taking a BSNL like stance for this new 'prepaid voucher' concept. "The Prepaid Fixed line tariff plans can only be availed by customers possessing a compatible Customer Premise Equipment. The CPE are made available by Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) at refundable security deposit of Rs. 3500 for high range CPE or Rs. 1500 for mid-range CPE. Rs. 1000/- Installation charges for ONT are separate and payable to installing agency RRL." so basically what I read is that you are free to use your ONT/ONU as well with this, just like Bharat fibre. Also, the customers have the option of going for the white dual band ONR and the black single band ONR so that is a good option, especially for those who may not want to invest in a router for themselves separately. The 351 plan however has speeds of 10 Mbps only, don't really see the requirement for fibre for such speeds.

Further, the 199 plan does seem like an extremely better deal as for approx Rs940/month, you get unlimited data at 100 Mbps. That is a pretty good value proposition, especially for those cities with only BSNL atm. It does however fall short of Airtel and certain other ISPs (depending upon location).

@djxtwicee Its not unlimited data for 199 plan. It's most likely mistyped info there. Its 100 GB FUP for 199 plan. Check attached pic on post #77

So what does it mean? Existing customers can opt for the 199 per week unlimited voucher? Unlimited with FUP or totally unlimited? Does existing customer mean a customer with an already recharged monthly plan or simply after you have done a recharge? I wish they would clarify these points. They haven’t even declared when people need to migrate to paid plans.

All queued plans have been removed for me last night. I had 4 100GB plans qued up and now i just see 1 queued plan apart from current plan. Seems they'll migrate everyone within December.

No, the 100 GB recharge is not a voucher, that never gets removed. The 40 GB vouchers gets removed at the end of the validity of the plan, not at the end of the month.

All but one 100 GB vouchers got removed from the queue. However, we can still do the 100 GB and 40 GB recharge.

It seems the FREE Internet of JIO is over. They have also taken back Preview offer for new customers... My 100 GB voucher exhausted yesterday around 9 pm. I'd two 100 GB vouchers in queue. They are still there but not activated. They show under upcoming plan. No option to manually activate & now my net speed is 1Mbps...

So it seems they are doing this so that customers themselves contact them to migrate to paid service..

Now Which seems to be the best plan, They have offers for 3/6/12 months but its quite confusing...

The best plan is to shift to other ISP if you have that option. If you don't have that option then choose a plan according to your data consumption.

Have you tried doing a fresh recharge of 100 GB? Maybe that could work.
