No no I want them to stay, we need the competition and also cant have people losing jobs. But then, I also dont like the idea of the government giving in to this blackmail, else other companies might try and exploit in a similar fashion.

While Vodafone is at least partly responsible for the mess they are in, it’d be terrible if they shut down.

In case that happens, good luck with only Jio in the future.
Jio is already behaving like BSNL. Their customer service has no clue. The technicians are very low caliber as well. Look at how they are handling Jio fiber.

It’s a very bad situation. On one hand supporting Vodafone would mean influencing blackmail and stuff. And in the other hand we have Jio who behaves as if telecommunications is a joke. Honestly, BSNL 3G has more consistency than Jio’s 4G. It’s a pity their data coverage is crap.

Vodafone will exit whenever a country requires investment for future technologies. We can't change this type of mindset they are the one who didn't paid the taxes, hidden the revenues now threatening the government.

what if after govt help they still decide to exit? They are really behind the curve with no solid plan to compete with other operators.

Their plans are most expensive right now yes by Rs 1 and voda never had good customer support.
Idea still doesn't have volte right?

They are lagging far behind. My friend who got the iPhone 11 Pro and was on vodafone was hearing dead air during calls. After extensive tests by Apple Support, it was determined that it could be a network issue. When he went to vodafone store , he was told to switch off VOLTE and use 3g for calls !!! I helped him port to Jio today 😀

This is the highest that I’ve seen on Vodafone. If only they had decent coverage, they’d be in a much better position, customer base wise.

Vodafone at least in Chennai has always struggled with coverage rather than the actual speeds.
When I had Vodafone as a secondary sim I was not happy with their LTE coverage but whenever I had a decent signal, the speeds were good.
Even now at least in my locality, Vodafone is much better than Jio and On par with airtel if not better.
