I wonder what will happen when all the Vodafone subscribers (incase they shut down) join Airtel or Jio. Networks will get even more congested!

what will happen to employees of voda-idea another Aircel. Quality of service is already poor and these cheap plans are not really cheap in the long term.

trai is considering floor price if it is like 100/month many poor people who could just keep their number active 30/month for incoming calls and most imp OTPs for banks would have to shell out more money. Data packs were expensive earlier but quality was better and basic mobile service was affordable for the poorest .

If a monopoly ensues after this, we'll have to brace ourselves for the 'stupefying' network quality and 'world class' customer service from Reliance Jio.

Vodafone "might be" leaving, Idea isn't. So IDEA owners (Birlas) may buy all Shares of Vodafone and continue to operate.

And then Vodafone Idea would require another name change to just "Idea" and plus another round of approval process from TRAI and other authorities.

Vodafone should not exit. It will seriously going to be bad for India.

Jio and Airtel will suck the money.

^ It is all stupid way to deny such rumors so that it doesn't make issues with the stocks and all the other stuff. Any company would exit India in such poor economical policies and stupid policies being made.

I mean, Amazon India itself have reduced the investments in India because of stupid policies being made to regularise the online market.

Not as per Jio, as per Jio's letter they think its easy for any new company to enter the telecom sector right now and run successfully like they do. ROFL!
