Reliance Jio Fiber: Slow Internet Speed? (LAN Tested)

I am having a peculiar problem regarding Jio fiber.
Since last few days I am getting download speeds below 10 mbps and upload speed still at 94 mbps. This is happening only on my Dell Inspiron laptop. Speed is fine on my wife's laptop and on mobiles as well. Jio guy came and checked and said everything is fine at their end and the issue is with my Laptop. Any suggestion how to rectify this problem?

Which dns should i use then ? switch back to google dns ? (pings with jio)

how are you connecting your laptop wifi or lan ?

try changing speed & duplex value from auto to full.

with Diamond plan (5000mbps expected speed), I am getting less than 100 mbps speed on LAN.
Wifi 5Hz is great- about 400mbps.
Anyone else experienced similar issues with LAN port?
I testing on multiple device with CAT5e and CAT6. Even Jio service person testing on his laptop and LAN speed is getting capped below 100mbps. No resolution of issue from Jio for last 8 days. Any suggestions?

@avirendra did you check what is the link speed shown in OS networking status/properties area?

perhaps your fiber modem (ONU/ONT) only has 100 mbps ports and not 1 gbps, try getting it replaced with a different model.

Also check in the modem web admin UI if any setting of ethernet ports is done to make it 100mbps, it should be 1gbps setting.

Thanks for reply. I have asked for a router replacement. LAN port properties show 1GBPS speed.

I checked router settings. But I am not sure what settings I have to change to make LAN port respond to speed above 100mbps. If anyone know what settings to change in ONT, i can try.

Okay. I'll. Do you know under which section it would be available?
Jio engineer reset the router. So even if I messed up, it should be restored. But I will still check

@ponnitheunreal He stated that he is getting 400 Mbps on wifi. So, i guess it's not QoS which is called as bandwidth profiles on gateway.

@avirendra bandwidth profiles aka QoS is turned off by default. So, even if u reset the gateway the option will be off by default. But still i guess it's better to double check. It's in advanced option.

@avirendra i dont think onu is at fault cause you get 1gbps link on another device. maybe a port issue? interchange it and check.

yes. It's tuned off by default and I have not changed it. Thanks for reply.

I am getting 278 mbps on Jio Fiber LAN after some tweaks. Took Tp-link Archer A6 router which has 1Gbps LAN ports. Connected Jio router through CAT6 cable and made TP-Link Access point. Now when i connect LAN on laptop from Tp-link gives 278 mbps speed also Wifi5G gives 278 mbps upload and download both. Hope this will bring some relief to JIO Fiber users. I too was frustrated googled a lot and got this working solution. So got my hands on to it...
