Make your Airtel Broadband plan unlimited (~3TB) by paying Rs. 299+tax extra each month!

I called the cc and questioned them for about 20 mins twice and they confirmed that this 299 topup was available for v-fiber as well so i went ahead and asked him to change my plan to 799.

Lets wait and see if the 299 top-up works for v-fiber.
 
The title is bit misleading. Airtel provides zero data caps only on business plans (leased line plans) or enterprise plans. For normal broadband plans, unlimited means 3tb (for now) as mentioned in tos. They may increase it to 4, 5 or 10tb in the future. It will never be truly unlimited with zero data caps.

This is nice I'll probably get airtel v fiber as my backup connection spectra is nice but their downtime is but too much for me to handle always but one good thing about spectra is no data cap on my plan i used upwards of 20TB one month though they did disable my connection for a day to confirm that my systems weren't infeted with any botnets of sorts once i assured them it wasn't the connection was back up and i used couple more TB of data that month
Ps: does does airtel do CGNAT on vfiber?
 
I downgraded to 799 plan and the free 299 topup that I subscribed yesterday got removed. Now trying to add but getting an error message. logged a complaint. let's see
 
Okay I just got the option for unlimited @299. Thing is, I'm already on an advance rental plan (200 mbps till 300GB), so will they bill me separately for the unlimited thing?

Just now my app has also started showing the same although I am on VDSL 16 mbps. I am confused whether to go for it or wait for the fiber upgrade which as per the Airtel lineman may happen in a month or so.

Friends, please post screenshots of your data balance with breakups from app or portal here after you have applied the above pack.
