Initial Impressions :
Voice is Crisp
Dials super fast.

In One call, there was some distortion/cracking, i am not sure it was because of my wifi or other party's network.

Not using airtel broadband, use it as backup only so no other load.

By the way... This feature of vowifi is available on OnePlus 6T
Hope they bring it to all devices supported.

Jio after they couldn't find a solution now ignore me on twitter their chat via their app is useless. Asus too could not give a solution to be fair to them they could not find ant problem with the handset either. Though they have disabled a lot of features the h/w can support.

I can't find this option on my OnePlus 6T. Are you on Android 10 and also, do I need to be connected to Airtel Broadband for this option to show up?
Also I am on roaming, can that be the reason 😂

No issues Bro. Its not available on default you need to enable it.

Go into the dialer.(use default dailer not Google or something else)
-Dial ” *#800# “
-Press “Enter”
-Then press “oneplus Logkit”
-Lastly press ” Function Switch”
-Check ” VoLTE”
-Reboot.
-Repeat steps only instead of “VoLTE” press “VoWIFI” if you want WiFi calling as well.

Do note I still don't have vowifi. Its just enabled in few cities, as of now.

Thanks for the info, will give it a try.
Technically I am on Airtel Broadband as Speedtest shows Airtel.

It used to, back in 2016. I had connected my sim to a usb dongle, plugged into a charger, and I fired up the Jio4Gvoice app on my dad's phone, and it activated calls. I made a call to my Idea sim, and it went through. A couple of months later, Jio disabled it. I didn't really need it anyway.
