I got the first month bill. I have been changed 500 rs security deposit and 50 rs rent for ONT even though I have purchased it myself. ( I believe ONT is the wifi modem which has optical cable as input and lan ports along with a telephone port.) Check the screenshot of the bill. I tried...

@varkey Please check above first month bill of somebody bsnl ftth customer. Why bsnl charge both Rs500 security and plan security Rs1277. It is totally opposite to what you said earlier.
 
@varkey I also commented on a someone's BSNL ftth YouTube video in which i asked a question to him that
"Had you paid Rs500 security deposit along with selected plan like 777? Is it mandatory to pay for connection even if we don't take modem from bsnl?"
And he answered me Yes.

So i am facing lot of confusion.

Can you please share your bsnl ftth First Month Bill?
 
Please be logical, if you haven't taken the modem on rent and if you are charged the security deposit & rental for the ONT/modem, then that is a billing error and you can get it corrected. Believe it or not but billing errors do happen.

This is my last response on this topic.
