So based on this no carry forward of data. And premium numbers would cost money which as many folks have stated doesn't apply on 1860 series at least. Video calls etc would consume allocated data.

Calls to any number beginning with 1 do not go through on JioFixedLine. It considers it a USA number and says insufficient balance.

This is stupid, isnt international number dialling supposed to start with 00 then the country code and rest of the number? 😀

mmm. so how are you going to make calls to 1800 numbers 🙄

Try something like 91-1800xxx (start with 91) or try +91-1800xxx (start with plus-91)? Or even 00-91-1800xxx 😀

It works when we dial the number starting with 2222.
For example : Mtnl customer care number is 1500. When I dial 1500 from Jio landline it says the number is invalid.
When I dial 22221500 the call gets connected.

How did you discover this 2222 part?

I had a mtnl connection before I took Jio Fiber. So if I had to call Mtnl customer care from my mobile, I had to dial 2222 before the four digit number.
Obviously the area code had to be dialled before that.
For example : The customer care number to change mtnl plan is 1504.
So I had to dial 022 2222 1504 from my mobile. (022 is the area code for Mumbai).
I don't know if 2222 works outside Mumbai.

oh ok, 2222 part it must be the normal number for MTNL from other operators, nothing to do with Jio

like BSNL also has 1500 number and toll free is 1-800-345-1500
