Hi Friends,I am using Dataone for last 4 months. and inspite of keeping my machine protected with norton antivirus, mcfee and some spyware removers....i have to format my machine 3 time because of virus.i consulted other people using dataone in my city and found that their machines are also getting frequently affected by virus...Is dataone not secure enough..? when i used datainfosys...whenever a terminal had i virus that machine was removed from the network itself so that the virus does not spread over internet....is there any kind of system in bsnl..are'nt u guys facing such problems..plz reply with suggestions.ThanxSandy (sorry for last post with same topic)

virus infection is because of the surfing habits...u can't blame BSNL for that...it's totally ur responsibility...

Well at home I have Dataone on a Win XP sys. From day 1 of using XP (should be more than a year now) I have not formatted or re-installed the OS.

I use Zone Alarm Security Suite Which has a Anti virus componet, Anti-Spyware component and also a firewall.

Isnt it dumb, why use norton and mcaffe together...use all products of one company for better security! I dont use firewall or any antivirus but still havent needed to format my pc (alhum)..hmm...for quite a long time. B)

tip:sites with the following content usually infect you with spyware and stuff...
*porn *music *cracks and warez

the problem is the internet. bsnl is not responsible for what you download to your computer. its not a lan based ISP where the people on your network can locally infect your machine.

hi,Thanx for the information....since i frequently donwload warez and crack...so i guess the virus would be from that site...although i m also using mcfee firewall....sometimes everything seems to be useless..anyways..thanxSandy

congrats that you admitted downloading pirated stuff on the web and get infected from it.

if u're smart enough, u still can get the warez without getting ur PC infected 😉
