Not really. The scenario will change a lot in 17 months. You might want to change your ISP/plan way before that.
 
@aakshey It's been more than 7 months now I am using TSBB. I haven't faced a single problem till date. Believe me when I say this - Not even a minute's downtime nor any speed/disconnection issues. For the 1st time ever in my life, I am using this kind of stable internet 😀. I hope it continues this way. Moreover, the speeds are as consistent as Hathway's shitty internet. 😉

No "upto" speeds jhumla. If it's advertised as 100 Mbps, it IS indeed 100 Mbps or more than that. That's the reason I opted for a trial first.

I have seen a lot of complaints regarding TSBB but again it completely depends upon area to area. If it's good in your area, you are good to go. But for Hathway, its a PAN India issue lol.
 
Hello friends, I’m really interested in getting a TSBB connection but a bit confused. I live in Mumbai and would like to know how is the performance I mean is the speed consistent, any downtime or frequent disconnection and what about the after sales service. Currently my ISP is not that bad but their customer service is pathetic so that’s the reason I want to switch. A detailed review would be highly appreciated...thanks
 
Got the connection yesterday in Pune. was very excited to see such low pings and a high speed of 110 Mbps but within 24 hours it got disconnected more than 10 times. Now I am thinking what's the point to switch from the local ISP to the TSBB fiber connection. Really disappointed.
 
unrelated. my first few days on excitel were like that as the network was new and the local guys had no experience. not sure if the conditions are same for your guy.

Clearly Upload speed is not tuned for most of the sites outside of India or they are overselling their upload bandwidth.
 
Hey Guys, Just to let you know that Last month I opt for Safe custody which let me put my service on hold for a max. 1 month with charges of Rs. 250/- (Same as Tata Sky DTH Once in 365 Days Subscription Holiday Offer. But for Broadband we can opt as many times we can.)
Surprisingly, When my connection was in a Safe custody state I was able to browse all social media apps, Google Services, YouTube, and OTT apps without any issues. (Rest of the sites weren't working) that too with 1GBPS speed. (My Actual plan is 50 MBPS) 😉
It seems those services which are hosted on the Akamai Network are still working even your account is in Safe custody.
 
Does all these sites you mentioned provides 1 gbps speeds even when on normal plan ? @amar
 
Nope. When services resumed I get 50 Mbps which is as per my actual plan.
