No chance. If it's malware, it should also not work on my ADSL Connection. But it's working perfectly fine with ADSL.

Yeah. It seems bsnl is doing something nasty at their end. Mitm or something which is not implemented properly 😵

Would be interesting to see which CA signed the now untrusted certificate, the websites are presenting. You should be able to see it by clicking the padlock symbol on the address bar and clicking details.

Looks like it was problem with my router. After resetting the router, the problem is gone. Dunno why all of a sudden the router is creating such a problem.

Great. Perhaps you enabled some option which needed the router to do MITM which obviously would show the same symptoms unless the routers CA certificate is added to your different trust stores.

I faced a similar issue. Some sites, dont remember which, stopped loading.(red triangle). Changing dns server from OpenDNS to google dns fixed it.
