I think if Jio comes back with the current plans, they should have recharges with cheap rs/GB. Maybe they're already planning this. I think - 100GB for 60rs, 250GB for 120rs, 500GB for 200rs, 1 TB for 300rs. This will enable high speed for everyone and data for those who need it.

Plans to be differentiated by speeds and content packages. 850rs and more plan have FTA TV package bundled with TV not counting in broadband consumption. Else TV alone can consume 400GB-1TB given average Indian family usage, and that would nullify free TV with the high data charge. Or they can give even cheaper recharges since most content is peered

What a bad start to the weekend, shitty Jio plans and unfortunate incident with Chandrayaan 2

They have started extending the validity of plans on a per day basis. As per the last message, it is now extended for tomorrow till 1:30PM. It was extended from 5th to 6th Sep yesterday.

I don’t see it, all I see is a hyphen in the validity part.

@nigr Don't you get messages and emails that you plan validity has been extended for the next day? Since last night, i also see that hyphen in the validity part but they'll just keep it alive.

The only thing that can save this mess is data top-ups and how its priced... Otherwise I think almost everyone is going to stick their current ISP. People who want STB might go for this but even that information is not clear...

Validity is extended till next month. Dont worry, the local jio sales representative told me yesterday. Till the time its free, use it and once Jio starts charging , think about discontinuation, if they do not come up with some different plans.

Why Reliance JioFiber Subscribers Will Have to Get an LCO Connection?

The reason why this is the case is that Reliance Jio could not materialise its plans to bring IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) to its subscribers. Instead, the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator went ahead and bought a majority stake in Hathway and DEN Networks to leverage their last-mile connectivity.
