Seems like all existing plans are valid till 5th Oct 18:30Hrs. The validity might not reflect in your account but at the backend the changes have been done. Mostly likely they're just whiling of the time to get into the festive month and throw in those festive offers on the pretext of showing how much they care.

My area jio manager says the present plans on their site are just dummy plans . Wait till this week end he says . Plans will be updated it seems
What you are saying might be psychologically true.
I mean, to launch plans way below expectations and then after few weeks updating them back to normal might make people happy and attract customers.
But practically, it is not possible for a company of Jio's stature to do this.
What they might do like many have predicted is to provide festive offers in Diwali, etc offering more data.

How do you know the changes have been made at the backend?
You can check your plan validity by calling the JioFiber Customer Care Number from registered mobile number. The IVR service tells you about your expiry date and amount of data left.
Even though the jio app no longer mentions expiry, the IVR does.
I remember mine being mentioned as 5th October as well.

Nowhere in IVRS, it mentions the amount of data left or validity for me. Earlier it used too but not anymore.

Oh! I checked last Saturday only.
I will check again then. It might be that they have stopped doing that.

Meh. When it will be over, it will be over. Onus is on Jio to contact us, not the other way round. Plans are prepaid, not postpaid.

Has there been any other isp who has had offers for major festivals? This must very difficult for accounting department.

Practically its any time possible bro to change the plans..remember 5th sep 2016 jio launch plans.149 rs 300 mb data/month.then free service till march 2017 ,however their said plans were there in website sine 5th sep 2016,jio continued free service till march 2017 and those plans still were present in the website.but in april 2017,when they were finally ready to start paid service, they changed the plans completely and started 1gb/day in 149 rs.so yes jio can change the fiber plans as well and i strongly believe they will do so during Oct and then they will start their paid service..
