The pvt. companies that undertook the task of providing and maintaining BSNL FTTH connections hasn't been paid for the past 6-8 months. This is going on in various regions like Delhi, Tamil Nadu and M.P. Still many providers are continuing the service at their own expense thinking that Govt. company won't be a fraud. The BSNL FTTH guy in my area told me that he is about to drop this entire job just because of this. This is how BSNL plans to tackle JIO? No amount of bailout package will make up for the negligence of the people sitting within the company.

yes that's true in my area too ( Kerala ). BSNL has not paid anything to the LCO guy. Because of this reason , LCO guy no more giving any BSNL FTTH connection in my area , though the FTTH work order is sanctioned by BSNL.
