Airtel charging for toll-free numbers in postpaid

Guys! It is not Airtel's or Vodafone's mistakes. 1860 series numbers are being used to completely shift the burden to the customers. Previously it was important for companies to provide a free support channel. Now that they push their apps, email support as primary channels, 1860 took shape. Same goes for port sms, the porting provider takes this charge to generate UPC. Jio is absorbing the costs because it has no balance concept. I don't think they should
 
Why do you think jio should? It is a local call no according to TRAI docs. So charge accordingly.
Please don't give then ideas.
 
1860 is officially a premium calling service from my understanding. It was created for purposes like contest calling. Very likely after KBC overloaded telecom networks?
