App:BSNL BW Calculation, free-charged use chart

OK, Thanks cyberbhai.A request, if you could madify the app so that it does the averaging calculation if a user crosses 8 Am that would be excellent.Example, user logs on at 2:05 and logs out at 8:30 during which time 400 Mb has been dl. The time from 8 to 8:30 will be billed so the app has to average 400 Mb over 6 hrs 25 mins and calculate the usage for 30 mins and add it to the total usage.

Using DataOne Bandwidth Calculator is simple
Press goto Dataone Button.

Then select the month for which you want Bandwidth to be calculated, then click \"Ok\"

The data will be shown in New Page ( it includes Daywise details, Hours used ( free, chargeable and Total), Data Used ( free, chargeable and Total)

You can save the data
This also calculates Data between 2AM to 8AM ( 2:00 to 7:59:59)

Download lattest version at
http://sofact.com/dataone.zip
Also included a Shutdowntimer that can invoke an application at specefied time and/or shutdown the PC after a pre-specefied Period

Hai,

I worked with this software.Because bsnl time is little bit different from my system time I started at 1:55 and ended at 8:05 .But i used ur bandwidth calculator and it is showing me the total amount downloaded between 1:55 to 8:05 as charged amount.So Please tell me is that the way the bsnl people will charge.I am using home 500 plan.

Hi,Sorry, I was updating and uploading software.After the log format of dataone changed, I modified software.In first phase I removed "Type mismatch error" and in second the Free usage calculation.Perhaps you downloaded earlier. Please have a look a newer one.If you get any bug or have suggestions or requirements please write meWith regards

Hi,
The software is for MSIE only.
Also Bsnl says that its' portal (?) should be accessed with MSIE...

Dear Rinku,If ADSL LED is not blinking this means that Broadband is not there.Either there is a problem at exchange or you got your connection deactivated.Ask in exchange and not cutomer care. try tel number 1500 , there you can get help of other number.With regards

Hi cyberhai,

This is paddu.I worked with ur software and i found some mistakes.I want to explain them.First i calculated the bandwidth usage for september and i got arount 613 Rs as the amount with ur software and i got september bill and the amount which i have to pay is 417 Rs(this is bcoz od 9 days late connecton otherwise its 500).And when i calculated the october usage i found a bug.when started downloading at 1:55 then the total amount till 8:00 is counted as charged usage.
Please check out this.

Let me ask a question, have you selected your plan from plan menu.
By default home 250 is selected. You must select home 500 or so.
Even after that if error exist please save and email me the log to info@sofact.com
I have considered free time from 1:00:00 till 7:59:59 , if in your logs the time is 8:00:00 then software consider it as chargeable.

Tomorrow there will be one more update. If you have any suggestion tell me.

I selected home 500 plan only.The only mistake which i noticed is before 2:00 if we start it counting the whole as the charged amount.Anyway i will post my usage chart to ur mail id.By the way send me the latest update.So that i can verify and then mail u.bye.
