In a big relief to the millions of customers across the country, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has directed banks not to charge the users of automated teller machines (ATMs) for the failed transactions.

Long overdue. But I wonder if the banks will some other ruse to recover these fines from customers.

i guess instead of no money bank will show out of service message prob solved

Banks will put in a 10 rupee note in the ATM to avoid this penalty
