Want to buy Tp link Archer C6 AC1200 anyone here using it ?

My mi3c died due to water seepage from stupid lan cable ,i had padawan running on it and was very happy with the performance it was delivering ....ive tried reflashing ,cleaning the pcb with ethanol ,dried it in the sun but no joy, its still dead as a brick ,so i need a new router ,after much research and budget considerations i have decided to buy TP-Link archer c6 ac1200 .

If anyone here is using it then plz post some feedback about it and if it has any issues i should know about

for anyone interested in buying it its available online for 2.5k ish

or you can pay 129 for prime monthly 😛 and still save money and get one month prime 😛
 
also i use freeradius server on my rpi3 for enterprisee wifi security and this router should have support for wpa enterprise thats another reason i am thinking of buying it
 
mi did not have support for that? i assume this is VPN you are talking about?
 

bought archer c6 on 3rd august from nehru place , new delhi for 2k rs . initially router was freezing every 4-5 hours and required a reboot. turned off ''nat boost'' and it is working fine since then.

i use xperia z1 so on 2.4ghz i get only 40Mbps but on 5ghz i get full 75Mbps.

TP-Link offers 3 years warranty and i have had good rma experience in the past so went with it.

you can look into tenda ac10 router. it is also a good product.

no mi stock frimware didnot have support for enterprise wifi security and it was easily crackable anyone with an rooted android got the password word in like 2 mins ,it had mac binding but thats not that secure in my opinion so i flashed padawan frimware on my mi3c with spi chip programmer and that had support for enterprise wifi password encryption ,basically the rpi authenticates the clients trying to connect to my wifi ,the password is sent thru an encrypted tunnel so ppl sniffing my wifi packets cant see the password and the pi has wifi disabled so physical accsess is necessasry to hack it ......

what is the average cpu usage in under advanced status plz .
 
lots of freerollers here in my locality lol i had to secure it haha
